Name & Clan: Scrappaw - Hillclan
Age: Eight Moons
Gender: Male (Tom)
Allegiance: Hillclan
Rank: Apprentice
Description: A ragamuffin little cat, no matter how many times another grooms him, Scrappaw’s rambunctious lifestyle shows in his constantly mussed, long fur. With a pale orange pelt that appears more yellow than not, it’s easy to spot the bright cat even without his overt, attention-seeking personality. He has a few darker orange stripes, including a thin one down the center of his tail. He has pale green eyes and thick whiskers, as well as oversized paws that make him a little awkward.
Personality: (Quick reference: outgoing, energetic, loves the center of attention, trouble-maker, charismatic and just happy)
Scrappaw’s personality is just as easy to pick out as his strange fur color, and he loves being the center of attention. Always on the go, Scrappaw just doesn’t understand the concept of remaining still, making him a poor hunter. He’s outgoing, active, and energetic, a tiny furball of enormous energy. Easily excitable, it’s hard to find the apprentice unhappy or without something to do. Like other apprentices, he’s not fond of menial tasks, like changing bedding or getting ticks off the elders, but he likes even that better than nothing at all, so he’ll take any task his mentor – or anyone else – gives him.
Grandiose, Scrappaw doesn’t think he has any flaws at all. Luckily, he thinks just as highly as the other cats in his clan, but that doesn’t make him any less annoying at times. He has a bit of a thick head, and can be slow to learn something different. He finds it difficult to share emotions, mostly because he doesn’t understand feelings aside from adrenaline rush. He’s too on-the-go to enjoy sharing tongues, and would rather be dashing about than licking his clanmates. The only other cat who usually knows what he's feeling is his sister, Brindlepaw - he finds it easy to confide in her. It’s difficult to keep him in one place for very long.
A thrill-seeker, Scrappaw has a habit of getting into trouble. Even if it seems there’s no possible way for him to get into trouble, he’ll find something, even if it means going out of his way (sometimes especially if it means going out of his way). The clan has learned to give him as much busy work as possible, since that’s the easiest way to keep him occupied in a productive way.
Even when he's not looking to get into trouble, he'll still find it - Brindlepaw, is great at throwing it his way. He doesn't usually seem to mind, and never, ever minds being her test dummy for new experiences.
For all the trouble he causes, there’s something about the charismatic young cat that keeps him out of as much trouble as he should be in. Maybe it’s just how hopelessly happy he always is. Still young, exuberant, and changeable, it’s still possible to mold him into a slightly more reserved warrior – but there’s no doubt he’ll always have a trouble-making streak.
History: Scrappaw gave his mother the royal runaround when he was a kit, and gives the same pain to his mentor. Nothing terribly exciting has happened to him yet, but that doesn't keep him from looking.
