Description: Opaleye is an odd-eyed white. Her pure white fur is soft and silky, kept in perfect condition with careful grooming. Her eyes are very intense, one forest-green and the other deep blue. She is tall and willowy.
Personality: A responsible and steadfast Warrior, able to think for herself and stand up for what she believes in. Fair and intelligent, with a good sense of humour that allows her to get along with cats of all ages. She enjoys a laugh and time spent with her clanmates, but she puts her duty first every time. The clan is her life, and she both values and appreciates it.
She is a good communicator, perhaps because she grew up with a deaf sister. Opaleye still visits her sister, now living in the elder's den, and spends time with her in her silent world.
She is a resolute type of cat. Once her mind is made up it is made up, and she makes firm decisions. She rarely admits to being wrong, being rather proud at times - she puts everything into standing behind her decisions and if they do backfire it's hard on her.
But she takes utmost pride in her clan, whom she views as her extended family. Everything she does comes back to Rootclan... if anyone tries to hurt them, watch out.
History: As an apprentice, she was mentored by Rootpelt. More recently she herself mentored Dawnfrost.
She has an all-white sister with blue eyes who was born deaf, called Skyswan. Unfortunately she was unable to hear a roving dog and was brutally attacked while she was an apprentice, badly damaging her left hindleg. Opaleye was very torn about Skyswan's injury. She had always tried to encourage her sister, believing she could still be a warrior despite her deafness, and even made a plea to Goldstar to allow Skyswan the chance to become an apprentice in the first place.
The sisters' mother, Gemstone, died kitting and they were nursed by another queen. Their father, Snowstorm, passed on peacefully a season ago.
Relatives: Parents, Snowstorm and Gemstone, are deceased. Skyswan, sister.
