Outer Camp The outer camp is more spread out than the main camp, and not far from the abandoned warehouse. Used when the sewers flood or underground temperatures become extreme, one duty shared by apprentices and warriors is to keep the camp in top shape, no matter how long between visits to the camp. Nests are placed within rings of large, moss-covered stones, with the nursery in the center-most ring. Near the camp is a spillway that leads out of the drain system and into the river, but it is so overgrown that water now only trickles out of it – this is the Waterstep, and where the leader addresses the clan at the outer camp. It is also the main entrance back into the sewer system. |

Emptyden Grounds The abandoned warehouse above the main camp is called Emptyden by the Tunnelclan cats. It’s a good hunting ground for rats (and for the daring cat who gets up to the rafters, birds), but the grounds outside are even better for hunting. Overgrown with weeds and bushes, there are many small animals that call the area home. It is also where most of Tunnelclan’s herbs in the medicine cat dens come from. Tunnelclan cats often hunt here in pairs or small groups, flushing out prey to waiting claws – the area is overgrown, but provides only limited places for a hunter to hide. |

The Sewers The sewers are an extensive network beneath the teeming city, teeming with other things – namely rats, water, and the occasional Twoleg. The warriors keep to storm drains and underground networks more than the actual sewers, but that’s not knowledge they share with other clans. Most anywhere in the city can be accessed by the vast network of tunnels, but the maze of passageways deter many warriors from using any but the most tried and true paths. |

The River The river runs alongside the outer camp, only a few tail-lengths away, down a steep hill. There is one path that has been worn down enough to allow queens to bring their older kits, but apprentices and new warriors still enjoy tumbling down the side of the hill to approach the river. It has clean water, and the edges run slow enough for older kits and young apprentices to learn to swim and fish. |

Quietbridge Unlike the other, wider bridges that span the river at various points, this wooden bridge, in view of the outer camp, is narrow and the only bridge nearby that Twoleg monsters don’t use. The water under the bridge is quiet and slow, and there are many large, flat rocks, perfect for sunning. It’s a place for relaxation – but often only in morning and evening, as Twoleg kits often congregate in the afternoon, skipping stones and sunning themselves. |
