Hillclan live at the top of the hill overlooking the landfill. A border of shrubs marks the edge of camp. A loose pile of rocks were left here by Twolegs, probably intended for use somewhere about the landfill. These have now been left to grow over with moss and brambles, and are the marker for the Hillclan camp.

A tall, flat-topped rock that juts out from the top of the pile where the stone dens are found. It is about three fox-lengths above the ground. The Hillclan leader makes announcements from here, but it is also used by any cats currently on guard duty, watching out for intruders to Hillclan territory.

The leader of Hillclan sleeps in a crevasse in Outlook Rock, about half-way up. Slabs of stone are arranged so it's easy to climb up to the entrance.

The deputy's den is at the very foot of Outlook Rock. Two slanted rocks meet over the entrance, forming an inverted V shape.

Hillclan's Medicine Cat Den is located in an abandoned badger sett with three chambers. One side chamber is used for herb storage, the other for the Medicine Cats themselves to sleep in, and the final, main section houses any ill or injured cats in comfortable nests. Old rabbit burrows provide inlets for air and light throughout the den.

At the base of the rock pile, there is a passageway leading into a spacious hollow underneath. Half-earth, half-stone, this well protected den houses Hillclan's Warriors.

An earth has been hollowed out under a hawthorn shrub for the apprentices to sleep in. Thick grass grows in the area around the hawthorn, and apprentices often tussle, eat, and rest here.

The Hillclan nursery is a deep set of burrows in the center of camp. There are several small, interconnected chambers around the edges often used by queens for kitting or when their youngsters are still too small to play. They all lead into the central chamber where queens and older kits gather, where the sunlight streams brightly into the burrow.
