Tunnleclan claim camp mainly in the underground beneath the other warriors. Living in the breast of the city, they have a camp in the basement of an abandoned warehouse, cloaked in shadow and solitude. Large pillars hold up the central room where the clan nests, and provide the structure for their entire camp.

The cats are aware what they call Rustrock is no rock at all, but their ancestors were unaware that the massive, crumbling structure was a machine. To this day, the cats are not sure what the machine did, but it is located in the central of the room, and it has been used by the leaders to address the clan since they discovered the camp.

The eastern pillar has crumbled away in sections, creating several hollows. A hefty jump takes a warrior up to the leader’s den, which is much more open than most dens. It opens to the center of the room, giving a decent view of the room.

Just a step up from the floor is a small circular opening that leads into a den as spacious as the leader’s. Some larger deputies have to squeeze to get in, but it’s not uncomfortable.

By far one of the most spacious “dens,” the medicine cats reside in a room near the entrance, connected by a hole formed from several missing bricks several inches from the floor. The room contains a tangle of pipes that still provide water to various buildings in the nearby area. Though Tunnelclan has little access to herbs above ground, what they can find they can store for long periods of time; herbs that need to be kept cool are stored on the cold water pipes and those that need to be dried are stored on the hot water pipes. The medicine cats den beneath a broken-down water heater, which is several inches above the ground – it is large enough to hold more than the three medicine cats.

Near the western pillar, quite a few bricks are missing from the floor, revealing the sandy ground beneath. Over the years, the cats have dug out this area, creating a sandy hollow in the ground where the warriors den.

Beside the southern pillar, a circular wall of stones, with a narrow entrance, has been erected by the clan. The wall is not very high, but enough to cast shadows over the apprentices when they sleep. The ground is padded with moss from above ground.

A door in the western wall has been stuck closed for many, many years, but some large animal once chewed out the entirety of the bottom of the door, and now it leads into a large, empty, warm closet where the elders den. It is also padded by moss from above ground.
