No New Posts Abandoned Church

The abandoned church is a small, old traditional church. Inside it is open spaced with rows of benches. In the back of the church is the raised platform where the podium and piano reside. Several colorful stained windows, some of which are broken with glass littering the floor below them, allow sunlight and moonlight to stream in. The church doors lay open, during windy days they swing carelessly, and bang harshly during storms. Crowclan’s companions, the Crows, live up in the Church rafters and up in the bell tower along with a few other avian brethren.
Apprentices are brought here on their first day of apprenticeship to meet and get acquainted with their avian allies for the first time.

No New Posts The Churchyard

The Churchyard is a very beneficial spot for Crowclan both as a food source and water source. For the lack of maintenance and use the churchyard has become overgrown. The front of the yard is covered in high grass’, taller then the Clancats and up to twolegs’ knees.
To the right side of the churchyard is the Orchard Grove. To the left of the building the waterlines that had once been a source of water for the church had sprung a small leak, enough to bubble up from the ground and trickle down the foundation hump of the church to an old stone pond. It had once gone dry, lacking maintenance, but now is steadily and continually filled with freshwater.
Surrounding the churchyard is a very old, crumbling stonewall. Most of it has cracked and fallen. However, small portions of the wall are still standing here and there. Crowclan tends to mount these walls to peer over the tall grass’, watching for slight movements to signal possible prey or fellow cats.

No New Posts Orchard Grove

Fruit and nut trees were planted long seasons ago beside the churchyard. Now untended, they still thrive and attract many a mouse and squirrel to them, making this a prime hunting ground for Crowclan. Apple, bayberry, chestnut, cherry, hazel, and pear trees all grow here. The undergrowth is mainly comprised of blackberry brambles and strawberry thickets.

No New Posts The Graveyard

Behind the abandoned church resides the old graveyard. It is overgrown and unkempt, twoleg visitors are very rare in this part of Crowclan‘s territory - nearly nonexistent. Crowclan’s mausoleum camp resides near the back and to one side of the graveyard.
Mentors tend to keep their apprentices in the portion of the graveyard closer to the church when training since, with their avian allies able to keep watch, it‘s perhaps the safest open space to let one‘s focus be on fight training alone without distractions. The tombstones are good watch points for Mentors to assesses their pupil’s moves.

No New Posts The Cemetery

Lined with headstones, this is the newer portion built around the older graveyard. During the day twolegs can be seen here, but Crowclan do not fear them the way other clans do. These twolegs seem different somehow, quiet and keeping to themselves. They do not seem worried if they see a rare Crowclan cat during the day, heading home after a night's hunting.
The grounds are well-kept, the grass short, with many shady trees planted every so often. The air is scented with the fresh flowers the twolegs leave behind. Some areas are fenced off by wooden or stone fences but few are more than a foxlength in height and pose no problems for Crowclan.

Board Description
Crowclan Territories
Crowclan’s territory spreads from the inner graveyard and old abandoned church out through the whole of the new, fresh cemetery used by the city’s twolegs. Though their boarders continue on pass the large iron gates they do not tend to venture far from the cemetery itself.
