Name & Clan: Maplesong - RootClan
Age: 23 moons
Gender: Female (She-cat)

Description: A large, rather hefty she-cat. Maplesong has long, fluffy fur which makes her look even bigger. She has light ginger fur, with darker tabby markings. Her chest and front paws are white. She has pale green eyes.
Personality: She is a friendly she-cat who tries to be as helpful as she can with her Clanmates. Maplesong is extremely optimistic, to the point where she comes across as naive. She means well, however she is unable to 'read the atmosphere'.
Maplesong will be sulky and dejected for the whole of a minute when upsetted, but soon bounces back to normal like a kit. She is intensely loyal to her Clan, and wishes more than anything for everyone in there to get along.
She's pretty apologetic, always worried that she had hurt her Clanmates in some way. She takes time to think things through, and doesn't always respond immediately, leading some cats to think that she is a bit dull.
In battle, she relies on strength more than speed. She is rather clumsy while running, and stumbles easily. She can't swim, being afraid of the water. Her fur is too long and thick to dry easily.
History: Maplesong has a pretty normal kithood. She had a sister, Cloudykit. The two were quite friendly with other kits.
As apprentices, Cloudypaw was much more mischevious and daring than Maplepaw. She often went wandering around, making a game out of evading her mentor. She got repeatedly disciplined, but refused to stop and often got annoyed when Maplepaw refused to come with her.
One day, Cloudypaw told her sister that she was going down to the sewers to explore. Maplepaw refused to come, as usual. Cloudypaw ran off.
Maplesong never saw her sister again.
Efforts had been made to look for Cloudypaw, but no one could uncover any trace of her, not even the TunnelClan cats, always aware of what goes on in their territory.
Eventually, Maplesong gave up her hopes, and tried to be as good a Clan member as she could. Perhaps if she kept everyone happy, they wouldn't leave her like Cloudypaw....
