Bluepaw padded inside the apprentice den with a heavy sigh. She was worried about Snakepaw, who'd gone to the previous evening's Gathering and he and the group of Crowclan cats hadn't returned yet. She hoped the other cat's hadn't made an issue of his blindness, though he'd had Streamfur with him who was a fairly calming influence.
She hoped he'd be back soon so he could tell her all about it. The slender blue tabby curled up in her nest to wait, eyes and ears of the entrance.
Sudden movement caught her eye as Ravenpaw stretched from her nest. The tortoiseshell apprentice sneered when she saw who it was. "Still mooning after the blind boy, Bluepaw?" She growled unkindly.

A paw suddenly cuffed Ravenpaw's ear. "Keep your yap shut, mouse-brain." Squirrelpaw snapped at the hostile apprentice, her hackles raised as she stalked past her. The ginger she-cat quickly plastered a smile on her face, beaming at Bluepaw. "Don't listen to dummy there. She's just grumpy because a blind cat handed her tail to her last training session." she purred sweetly, casting a smug glare back towards Ravenpaw.
Relieved to be back in the familiar area of the CrowClan camp, the young brown tabby stretched before leaving his mentor's side. Moving as confidently as a cat with sight in the familiar camp, he made his way tiredly towards the Apprentice Den. His sister's sweet voice reached his sensitive ears and he instantly knew someone had said something. With a sigh, Snakepaw pushed into the den, ears angled back, ready for any snide comments.
