Icestorm had climbed a top one of the piles of twoleg rubbish, peering around her. Nothing out of the ordinary... Or anything that could lead them to the blind Medicine Cat. The Warrior sighed, tail flicking agitatedly as she hurried back down to the ground, nose wrinkling at the scent of fresh garbage.
"Couldn't see anything from up there." she told her companions, mismatched eyes sweeping the area around them. This was one of the Clan's most well used trails... but there was no sign of Coldnose... This doesn't seem right...

"Where could he be?" Hareleap asked.

Pearlpaw couldn't hide her worry- it overflowed from her large blue eyes and showed itself in the tension of her steps. She scrambled up onto a pile of rusty cabinets that creaked and groaned underpaw, sniffing in any open doors. "Nothing." she called across to Icestorm. She lifted her head nervously and sniffed the air. It was clouding over, and they hung low int he sky. How would they ever find Coldnose if it began to rain?

Icestorm shrugged hopelessly, sighing. She hadn't been out herb collecting with the old Medicine Cat since her early Apprentice days. The white she-cat scanned the area once again, following the well used trail at a steady pace. "We'll just keep going along this trail... Though it might be better to split up." she called back to her Clanmates, blue-and-green eyes flicking up to the gathering clouds as thunder sounded in the distance. Not good...

"I'll go towards the north!" Hareleap said, heading towards the northern section of the landfall.

Pearlpaw nodded at Icestorm and Hareleap. That had been a good idea of the white warrior's. "I'll head down to that pile of monster paws." She said, pointing with her nose to a tyre pile. She jumped agility over the rubbish littered around, making her way about carefully and thoroughly. She paused to sniff the air, trying to seek out any scents. Down by the sharp, rubbery scent of the monster paws she could smell little else, and she carefully scrambled up and over a few piles, checking for the creamy medicine cat.

"Remember, he'd follow the paths with the freshest scent!" the white Warrior called after her companions, before continuing down the path, sticking her nose in any sheltered spot she could find. Icestorm's mismatched eyes moved restlessly, her whiskers twitching anxiously. Where could the tom had of gone? Surely the blind cat couldn't have gotten far from camp. Catching sight of a rusted old monster, long since dead, the Warrior hurried over to it. It's paws were gone, it's stomach left wide open for the HillClan cats to shelter in when it started raining heavily. The white she-cat lept onto one of the seats, searching, sniffing. "Coldnose?"

Mouse, still fresh.., thought Hareleap. The black spotted white F5 savvanah followed after the smell. Left.... right.... through that bush.... around that tree..., the warrior obediantly followed the trail of the mouse.
