Elmshade puffed herself up, fur bristling to make herself seem even larger. She growled at the dog, advancing a step, trying not to let her fear show.

The bigger dog, his head swigging nervously and his teeth showing with every exhale of breath, finally backed down. As he turned and loped towards the fenceline, raising Wolverineclaw's hackles as it passed by, the terrier join the retreat. Wolverineclaw watched them both disappear out the gap in the fence, and shook his head sharply. "Don'tmess with Moonguards. You, Squirrelpaw, isn't it? You alright?"
Silverstar drew to a panting halt and turned to take stock of her warriors. "Everyone all right? any injuries?" She called, ignoring trickle of blood from a scratch on her chest.

Panting, Squirrelpaw dropped from the fence, wincing as she landed. "It got my paw." she muttered, cursing herself silently. She needed to be faster! Sitting down, she licked gently at her bleeding hindpaw.
Dawnbreak's mismatched stayed fixed on the dogs as they retreated, tail lashing. "Filthy mutts." she muttered, before her gaze shifted over the group.

Elmshade let out a half-hearted growl as the dogs retreated, not really wishing to draw their attention. As soon as they were out of sight, she let out a shuddering sigh, heart pounding.
"Not looking forward to an encounter like that anytime soon." She muttered, looking at Squirrelpaw in helpess concern. She didn't know anything about herbs.

Secondsight sat down heavily, catching her breath. Closing her eyes, she did a mental check-up of her condition. Aside from some scratches and bruises, the worst injury seemed to be a cut on her cheek, from which the bleeding was already slowing.
"I'm alright." she mewed shortly, starting to lick the dirt and blood from her fur.
