Name & Clan: Thunderwolf of RootClan
Age: 24 moons
Gender: Female (She-cat)
Allegiance: Rootclan
Rank: Other
Description: Thunderwolf is a calico cat, her short fur a mix of reds and grays. Her fur is primarily white, with most of the color splattered across her back. A few stray spots are on her legs and flanks as well. On her face is mostly white fur with gray around her ears, and a flew spots of red here and there. Pale yellow-green eyes peer out from her angular face. A twisted black scar runs from her nose to her ear and across her right eye, though luckily the wound never effected her eyesight.
Under the short fur Thunderwolf is a stocky, muscular cat. She is heavy and often slow, held back by her weight. Her legs are fairly short and thick, and her tail is only half the length of the average tail. The end is scared and frayed, showing it was ripped in half by some vicious creature--Probably the same creature that gave her the scar on her face.
Personality: Based on myself. Warning: it's long.)
There are many words that could describe Thunderwolf. She is generally an easy-going cat, though she gets worked up very quickly. 'Excitable' would be a good word for it. When talking about something she really cares about, defending it or enthusing about it, she speaks very fast and works herself into something of a frenzy. She loves to tell funny stories, and gets excited about those as well. Her passion makes her a good story teller, though cats often tell her to calm down. Thunderwolf also laughs a lot, sometimes at very small things. Once she really starts laughing it's hard to stop, and sometimes she'll even laugh later on just thinking about it.
When Thunderwolf feels strongly about something, you'll know. When she's angry, she's angry. She clings to her opinions very strongly, and will defend then to the end, even when she knows she's losing the argument. Often her passionate need to defend her views gets her laughed out by those who say "It's not a big deal, settle down." But in this case, whatever you do, don't tell her to calm down. This will most likely earn you a sharp swat across the face before she haughtily storms away. Usually it's hard to hurt her feelings, but when one of her most basic values is attacked, Thunderwolf my soon be reduced to angry tears.
Even this shows that Thunderwolf is a strong, opinionated cat. She has been self-reliant her whole life, and doesn't accept help from others easily. Sure she doesn't mind a little help on a hunting patrol, but when it comes to real problems, she's determined to do it herself. One way to get her really mad is to suggest that she's weaker or less intelligent because she's female. She insists she can do anything as well as any tom, and doesn't need a mate to help her. When it comes to mates, she could care less if 'Mr. Right' wanders by. In the mean time, she'll stick to her own life, thank you very much.
Despite her quick temper and sensitive views, Thunderwolf is a very bubbly and friendly cat. She's quick to crack a joke or reach out to a cat from another Clan, though at first she's a little awkward to be around. She tends to have a snide response to everything someone in a higher-up position tells her, but it's all in jest. She just doesn't like being bossed around so much. Perhaps this is why the independent lifestyle of a Moonguard suits her so well.
Even so, Thunderwolf has a few serious self-esteem problems that surface once in a while. Sometimes she gets to wondering what her friends really think about her, and is sometimes sure that no one really likes her. These doubts lead to bouts of deep depression that sometimes last up to a week. Often she's certain she can't do anything right, and that nothing she ever does will get her anywhere in life. Never mind that she's smart, moderately attractive and strong. When it comes right down to it, Thunderwolf really hates herself.
But in the end, she puts on a happy face for her Clan. After all, no one wants to be friends with a depressing lump.
History: Thunderwolf's parents were two very caring, very loving cats named Inkmark and Featherquill. They raised her the best they could, teacher her their values and beliefs and letter her form her own opinions based on that. They showed her StarClan and the warrior code, but taught her it was okay to question the law once in a while. From her mother Thunderkit learned how to be strong and independent, and from her father she learned how to be understanding and friendly. From her father she also learned how to go on an angry rant, as he often did about Clan politics or policies.
When the time came around for her to be apprenticed, someone must have noticed Thunderpaw's powerful physique and decent skills, because she was chosen as a Moonguard apprentice. With this came rigorous training, a lot of lessons about StarClan and the warrior code, and the chance to live on her own. Thunderpaw was excited to be learning from the Clan's best warriors, and for the chance to be more or less independent of the Clan. She wasn't stuck in camp all day or going out on boring patrols. She was out on her own half the time, watching over the Moonecho and doing as she pleased.
Towards the end of her training, a huge dog wandered into the Moonecho site. The other Moonguards were out hunting or some other chore, so Thunderpaw attacked the dog herself. In the fight she received the scar across her face from the dog's teeth. Growing tired of the attack, Thunderpaw fled, but as she did the dog caught her by the tail. Desperate to escape, Thunderpaw twisted herself free, leaving half of her tail behind. The dog chased her far beyond the Moonecho, where she lost it somewhere in the city. Wearily Thunderpaw made her way home and collapsed at the RootClan camp. She told her story, and was rewarded with the warrior name Thunderwolf.
Since receiving her warrior name, Thunderwolf's life has been fairly uneventful. As a Moonguard she switches between living at the Moonecho and living at home, but this is all normal. At the moment she's just content to live her life as best she can, and try to be valuable to her Clan.
Relatives: Mother: Featherquill, deceased
Father: Inkmark, deceased
Other: The RootClan Moonguard I said I'd make.
This is a character I tend to use a lot. She's supposed to be a cat version of myself, which makes her a little Sue-ish...But you can easily see my opinion of myself.
Anyway, the personality is long. You don't have to read it all.
