Dapplekit was taller then most kits her age, always had been. But she was older now, actually she should be becoming an apprentice soon. But she wasn't. She was still sleeping in the nursery every night, watching with eney the apprentices as they left camp to train and hunt. It raised her fur to realize that she had to wait. Turning her head to glare angerily at Silverstar's den she snorted.
One day she'd be in power and when that day came no one would have to wait to become an apprentice.
Flicking her tail she turned her head back around to stare out at the camp. It was nearly emnpty today, with the exception of a few apprentices and warriors dropping by to fill up the fresh kill pile. A few queens and there kits sunning themselfs. Peaceful.
A plain old normal day.
